Fiber drop cables are typically used between the fiber terminal and the building or home and available for various indoor or outdoor applications The Optical fibers (02-12F) are housed in single loose tubes that are made up of high-modulus plastic and filled with thixotropic jelly.
Two parallel Fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) are used to give extra strength and flexibility to cable. PE jacket is extruded to make the cable structure flat shape.
